arraignment-of-malden-man-in-somerville-cold-case-murder

Hey there! So, apparently, prosecutors are saying that Heinsky Anacreon and a buddy decided to sell a Lexus to Charline Rosemond, only to end up robbing and killing her. I mean, talk about a messed up situation, right?

Charline Rosemond was discovered shot to death in a car in Somerville back on April 13, 2009. The guy accused of her murder, Heinsky Anacreon, showed up in court and pleaded not guilty. He’s 38 years old and hails from Malden. Like, who does that, seriously? The court ordered him to be held without bail, and he was indicted last month. The whole thing is just crazy.

So get this, four days before she was killed, Rosemond took out $4,100 from the bank, saying she wanted to buy a used black Lexus. She told her friends about it, saying it was a good deal and that she had to pay in cash. Anacreon, who worked at a used car dealership, had access to the exact car she was looking to buy. Sketchy, right? Prosecutors are saying that Anacreon and his pal set up Rosemond to rob her. I mean, who even does something like that? It’s just messed up.

The whole story is just tragic. Rosemond thought she was meeting up with a friend to buy a car, but it turned into a nightmare. She never made it back home, and her body was found in the car she borrowed from her dad, shot from behind. I can’t even imagine what her family must have gone through. And to make matters worse, the murder weapon was never even found. It’s just a terrible situation all around.
