Well, well, well. Seems like the Boston police have been busy cracking down on some reckless moped and scooter operation in Back Bay. I mean, who knew these little scooters could cause such a ruckus, right? Anyway, on May 15, the officers were out there doing their thing as part of “Operation Safe Scooter” when they caught Trayvon Tercy, a 20-year-old from Mattapan, red-handed. Or should I say red-wheeled? He was arrested for driving a stolen scooter like a maniac. The nerve!
So, Mr. Tercy got himself a one-way ticket to Boston Municipal Court, and the stolen scooter was returned to its rightful owner. But that’s not all, folks. Eight other riders were also stopped and given summons for various motor vehicle violations. Talk about a wild ride on Boylston Street! The police even mentioned how some of these scooter operators were zooming away at high speeds when they saw the cops. Classic move, am I right? They must have really been pushing the limits of their little scooters.
Now, the Boston police are not messing around. They are on a mission to keep the streets safe from these rogue scooter riders. They’re asking the public to keep an eye out for any motor vehicle violations and report them by calling 911 or reaching out to their local district station. It’s like a scooter showdown out there, folks. Who will come out on top? Stay tuned for more updates on this wild scooter saga in the streets of Boston. And remember, safety first, even on those tiny scooters!
